Highlight pro bono work |
We have a long had a tradition of pro bono legal support and we actively work to enhance our contributions to our communities and society through the provision of legal services on a pro bono basis. These efforts include:
• Working to integrate our pro bono practice across the Firm into one pro bono framework • Improving our pro bono data governance structures • Affirming our pro bono commitment through long term relationships with organizations serving others including: Pro Bono Ontario, Thomson Reuters’ TrustLaw network and ProBono.org Fasken lawyers and students are encouraged to engage in pro bono services when they can, to give back to the community and to help build their legal skills. One of the main ways that students and junior lawyers do this is in BC is through Access Pro Bono legal services. A number of our lawyers also take on Pro Bono files as part of their practice and often get juniors involved in these files. |
