Comments The T.E.A.M. Program is an important element of the Firm's overall approach to the Training, Education and Mentoring of our associates and demonstrates our commitment to our young lawyers. Participation may take a variety of forms, including formal mentor appointments, practical training on file work, constructive feedback, participating in training seminars and generally contributing to T.E.A.M. spirit within the Firm.

The objectives of the T.E.A.M. Program are to:

(i) assist associates with their integration into the Firm and their understanding of the Firm's culture, policies and practices;
(ii) assist associates in their professional development, with a view to maximizing their individual potential and their success as contributing members of the Firm;
(iii) encourage the fostering of strong working relationships among associates and other Firm professionals;
(iv) assist in the building of a rewarding, satisfying and progressive work environment; and
(v) encourage a sense of belonging within the Firm among associates and other Firm professionals.

Contributions to the T.E.A.M. Program are recognized in a variety of ways.

The Firm’s Business Development Program (“BDP”) was established in 2012 to assist associates in honing their skills in the areas of client service, networking and profile building. The program runs year-round and signifies the investment the Firm is committed to making in the development of our young professionals.

In addition, each lawyer is provided with an annual discretionary allowance which enables flexibility in determining the business and professional development activities they wish to engage in for professional and personal development during the year.

The Firm also organizes various continuing professional development educational programs throughout the year.
