Comments We believe that giving back to the communities in which we work by offering pro bono legal services is a social and professional obligation.

Whether we are helping an organization understand the legal obligations associated with shipping athletic shoes to children in Africa, acting for tenants living in unsanitary accommodation or intervening before the Supreme Court of Canada regarding numerous human rights issues, our pro bono legal services are just a part of the many things we do to live out our three core values of Quality, Unity and Integrity.

We have agreed to provide a minimum of 30 hours of pro bono legal services per lawyer per year. We are proud that our lawyers take the time to serve individuals and non-profit organizations in the community.

Pro Bono Services include legal or intellectual property services provided without charge (or at a substantially reduced charge) to:

- individuals who are economically or socially disadvantaged;
- non-profit, charitable, religious, civic, community, governmental, educational and other organizations of limited economic means; or
- individuals or organizations in matters seeking to secure, protect or promote justice, civil rights, civil liberties, public rights, or other interests with broad societal implications.
