The Firm's leadership, our Chief Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and our firm-wide Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee are committed to the development and implementation of a strategy that further solidifies the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion into the Firm's culture, and addresses racism and systemic discrimination.

Fasken is committed to addressing and ending anti-Black and other forms of structural racism in the legal profession. As part of that commitment, Fasken has signed the BlackNorth Initiative Law Firm Pledge. In partnership with ICON Talent Partners, we are working to connect diverse candidates with opportunities in corporate law. Our partnership includes a national mentorship and scholarship program for ten incoming 1L Black and Indigenous students.

Fasken is also committed to Indigenous reconciliation. Fasken has a Firm-wide reconciliation plan. Fasken's Reconciliation goals focus on the areas of training, recruitment and retention, pro bono, advocacy, procurement, acknowledgement, and philanthropic initiatives.
