Description of articling program Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP is a mid-size, full-service law firm located in Brantford, Ontario.
We offer our students the best attributes of an established law firm, including exposure to many different areas of law, challenging work and the opportunity to work with a broad client base, without losing the benefits of a close, hands-on environment. The position will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work closely with lawyers from all practice areas and further develop their legal knowledge and practical skills.
Your main responsibilities will include, drafting legal materials, providing lawyers with support on their files, and carriage of certain court matters, legal research and writing.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
• Eligible to for articling
• Strong research, writing and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
• Strong analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
