When is the interviewing period? In accordance with the procedures set by the Law Society of British Columbia and the Vancouver Bar Association
Do you participate in on-campus interview (OCI) programs to fill such positions? Yes
Description of the second year summer program Our students receive a solid introduction to the practice of law and our firm culture. Students experience real file work, meet clients, get involved in transactions and go to court. Summer Students do not rotate practice areas during the summer and are able to experience work from a wide variety of practice areas. Students are paired with an associate mentor who will introduce them to the firm and provide guidance throughout the summer. Students are encouraged to play an active part in firm life, including participating in office-wide and student events.

Description of articling program Articling students participate in two formal rotations during the articling term that are split between our corporate and litigation groups. Students are involved in meaningful work - there is no work that is designated as "student work". Students are encouraged to take on increasing levels of responsibility as they progress through their articles. We work individually with each student to ensure they receive appropriate mentoring and training during their articles. Articling students are paired with a principal and mentor who together ensure that the student is exposed to a broad range of practice areas and to all aspects of practice.
