The NALP Canadian Directory of Legal Employers (CDLE) offers an efficient, cost-effective way to tell your organization’s story to the widest possible audience of law students, lawyers and law schools. The CDLE is freely available to students and job seekers online at www.nalpcanada.com. Your NALP Form profile gives job seekers the information they most want, including practice areas, hiring criteria, demographics, and starting salaries.

To begin, click on the "Register" button above to obtain an Employer ID and begin completing the NALP Form. Your data will be included in the online, searchable CDLE if you choose to click "Submit" and pay the appropriate listing fee (see the fee schedule below). Be sure to print a copy of the NALP Form for your records. Private employers (law firms and corporations) pay an annual fee to be included in the CDLE. Government agencies and not-for-profit public interest organizations may list at no charge. Employers may update their online listings throughout the year at no additional charge, including associate or lawyer hiring information. We encourage you to list your organization in the CDLE by clicking on the "Submit" button after completing the form. However, if you choose not to list, you may still complete and print your NALP Form using this system at no charge.

The Data Collection System allows each office to complete and submit the form in both English and French at no additional charge. Users of the public site at www.nalpcanada.com will be able to select their preferred language.
